A little background..

Ben has been working in the ranch industry for 10 years, from 5-star guest ranch to full cattle operations.

Ben's interest in ranching started after working on several large cattle operations and wildlife sanctuaries in Australia of 1997. Once back in the US, he moved to Colorado, where he and his wife managed cattle on a 20,000-acre ranch in Steamboat Springs.

Ben has managed equestrian programs and has experience starting young horses himself.

In November of 1999, Ben was a model for Glamour Magazine.

Additionally, Ben is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, College of Culinary Arts and has worked as a chef for several years and has been featured in a cook book.

A few of his favorite past times are riding horses, hunting and camping. Ben's wife, Sanne, was born and raised in Holland. They now live in Austin, Texas, with their 2 young daughters.
